Makeat
Makeat is a Food Design Studio based in Barcelona. Under the mission of awakeningi gastronomy’s potential they research and design projects in the gastronomic ecosystem and act as a bridge by connecting innovation with food professionals and generating alliances between experts in food, drinks, science, art and business.
Their expertise it’s based on three fields: creativity, design and technology, with which they bring a new layer to the gastronomic scene, opening new doors to innovation.

Their methodology is the Food Design Thinking where they always design from the experience and usability. Makeat believes that waste is a lack of creativity so they also carry materials research at the studio, transforming food waste into bio-designs.
