ReMediZ, an innovative Dutch company, is dedicated to developing sustainable healthcare solutions that benefit both people and the environment. Addressing the issue of over €100 million in unused medications being destroyed annually in the Netherlands, ReMediZ introduced the "Verlengde Apotheek" (Extended Pharmacy) service. This initiative enables the safe return and redistribution of unused medications, supported by their Meds Safe—a secure device designed to maintain optimal storage conditions.

During our visit to ReMediZ, we were impressed by how their team identified this pressing issue and immediately began working on a solution. Leveraging 3D printing technology, they rapidly prototyped their ideas, turning concepts into functional designs in record time. Some of the final components are still 3D printed, showcasing how this technology has been instrumental in bringing their vision to life. ReMediZ is a prime example of how innovation and technology can combine to address real-world challenges swiftly and effectively.
